Supporters 

The Center benefits from generous supporters who provide monetary support for our programs.  We thank the following contributors for their generosity:

Dr. Westover's generous contribution has provided over 3000 books for the Center library.  These materials will used by prospective and practicing teachers beginning or improving their teaching of reading and writing as well as children attending reading and writing programs throughout the year.  Her contribution was given in memory of her father, Dr. Frederick Lowell Westover. Friday, September 26th, Dr. Phyllis Westover visited the center accompanied by her husband, Lowell Smithson (left), and Dean Hlebowitsh (right). During the tour of the literacy center, Dr. Westover was able to view the books that were purchased with her generous donation as well as listen to the future plans the literacy center has for the upcoming months. We are delighted she was able to see the Center and look forward to the exciting programming that will make use of the library.
